Charles Thomas Pershing Jr. Obit

Charles Thomas Pershing Jr.

January 8, 1956 – May 4, 2026

Dr. Charles Thomas Pershing, Jr. known to many as Tom, Tommy Doc, or Abe, passed away on May 4, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him.

Tom lived a big life. He was a pilot, captain, contractor, entrepreneur, traveler, businessman, and so many other things throughout his life, but more than anything he was an adventurer. He loved the water, a good story, hard work, and the people he loved.

He was stubborn, larger than life, endlessly capable, and impossible to forget. He could build, fix, lead, teach, and somehow always find another adventure waiting for him.
