Crews have begun putting up decorations on Historic Congress Square. The decorations are expected to all be in place and lit the day after Thanksgiving and remain throughout the Christmas Season. The Orleans Chamber of Commerce’s Annual 2023 “Christmas on the Square” is set for December 9th from 5 to 7 pm. Chamber officials are also encouraging the town’s merchants and business owners to get into the Community Spirit by decorating & lighting up their store fronts and display windows to help brighten up the “Dogwood Capital,” a bit more during the upcoming holiday season.
