Robin Brown, Orange County CASA Director was the guest speaker for the May Orleans Kiwanis Club Meeting. Court-appointed special advocate (CASA) volunteers advocate for the best-interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers work with child welfare professionals, educators and service providers to ensure that judges have the information they need to make the most well-informed decisions for each child.
Since 1923 the Kiwanis Club of Orleans has been serving the needs of children and youth. The Club will celebrates 100th Anniversary with a special celebration planned for July 19th at Unity Hall.
