GIFT BOOK A REAL GIFT

Stories of Christmas Cheer by Bob Bridge

I’m here to inform you about my new book and encourage you to purchase it.

It is titled: “Stories of Christmas Cheer, Tales and Tails from Hearth and Hound.”

It is labeled in the category of Coffee Table Gift Book. I am uncertain exactly what that means although I do believe it would qualify as an excellent gift.

If you enjoy the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, you are going to want this one. Folks who have read it insist I must include a free package of tissues with each copy.

Before I tell you more about it, let me give you a good reason to buy it. All the revenue from the first 600 books will go as a donation to the Lawrence County Community Foundation. That should result in a significant sum.

It gets better. Lilly Endowment Inc. is currently offering a generous 2/1 match for unrestricted funds. When I started my fund 20 years ago I designated it as unrestricted.

So, we are looking at a windfall for your favorite local charities. I feel very good about this project.

Now, I’ll offer some additional info about the book. It concentrates on family and the “reason for the season.”

The cover? I love it! Even though the artistic team is responsible for the cover, this is primarily my design, my concept.

The book was written for and dedicated to my wonderful parents. I was so blessed to be their child.

To borrow a “Forrest Gump,” quotation, “That’s all I have to say about that.”

Remember, this is a great opportunity to support the Warming Shelter, Becky’s Place, the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County, White River Humane Society, Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services and other LCCF charitable organizations.

The book is launching Oct. 22. If you’d like to purchase one or buy several copies to utilize as gifts call me at 812–276-9646 or email me at bbbbbridge@gmail.com.

You can also connect with me via Instant Messenger on Facebook. The book is $20. You can pick up copies upon arrival or I can arrange to drop them off.

Don’t hesitate to offer feedback. I’m offering a prize for the most thoughtful review.
