(Bloomington, IN) – Celebrate 75 years of Peanuts with an hour of joy, humor, and timeless Peanuts magic!


This fall, Constellation Stage & Screen is presenting You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Under the guidance of seasoned director and familiar face to Constellation, Mitchell Ward, this fan-favorite will be brought to life on stage November 1- 16 at Waldron Auditorium. In addition to standard performances, Constellation is offering a sensory-friendly performance on Sunday, November 16 at 4:00pm.


Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang in the heartwarming and hilarious musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! This timeless classic brings the beloved comic strip to life with laugh-out-loud moments, memorable songs, and a big dose of charm. From flying kites to school crushes, it’s a day in the life of the world’s most endearing underdog and his friends. Celebrate the 75th anniversary of Peanuts with this perennial favorite packed

with humor, heart, and plenty of “good grief!”


Constellation’s upcoming production proudly showcases a dynamic mix of local talent and returning regional performers. Leading the cast is Connor Starks, a Chicago-based actor and Bloomington native, starring as Charlie Brown. Connor returns to Constellation after starring as Toad in A Year with Frog and Toad in 2021. Audiences will also recognize Yul Carrión as Snoopy, previously seen in Constellation’s production of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! and Matilda the Musical; Cassie Hakken as Sally Brown, Constellation’s Marketing Director who recently served as Assistant Director for Next to Normal; and Reagan

Cole Minnette as Lucy, who portrayed Penelope Square in Polkadots: A Cool Kids Musical last spring. Making their Constellation debuts are Daniel Neville II, a recent graduate of the Jacobs School of Music, as Linus VanPelt, and Shaquille Towns, a Louisville native and New York-trained artist, as Schroeder.


The musical is directed by Mitchell Ward, director of last fall’s production of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, who will be working closely with Choreographer Laura Rong and Music Director Brandon Magid. Alongside them on the creative team are Scenic Designer David Wade, Lighting Designer Corey Goulden-Naitove, Sound Designer David Sheehan, Costume Designer Becky Underwood, Stage Manager Sevin Kacsir, and Assistant Stage Manager Kalia Brown.


In an effort to make the show accessible to all families, Constellation is offering a sensory friendly performance on Sunday, November 16 at 4:00pm. This special performance is designed to create a theater experience that is welcoming to all families with children with sensory sensitivities. In addition to lighting, sound, and seating modifications, Constellation’s Sensory-Friendly Performances are Pay What You Will, allowing audiences to choose their own ticket price (starting as low as $10). You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown runs November 1-16 at the Waldron Auditorium and tickets are on sale now! For most performances, tickets start at $18 for children and $28 for adults (including fees).
