Just wondering if any other military veterans had applied for that "Explosives Handler" job at Crane? It was posted in the Times Mail back in July, and again here recently.

Yes as a matter of fact I did. 9 years in the ARNG with an Honorable discharge, and I cant seem to get a interview. So I wounder who is getting these jobs? My current application for the explosives handler is still in the review process, but I have not been contacted about it.

I've posted pretty much what I know about the situation on a couple of other boards.

Edit: On a positive note. For those that don't know about it, and are still looking for a job at Crane. Then you can visit www.usajobs.gov and search for jobs there. Please note though that this site only covers Federal jobs. And does NOT include any job openings that, one of the numerous, contractors at Crane might have.

I know (from the investigator) that atleast one other person filed a VETS claim on how this hiring was handled. Need that person (and anyone else that did) to contact me so we can talk. Mainly about the next step - MSPB - in the process.

Interesting note - When I got the letter (from the investigator) it had already been opened (you can see where the glue sections of the envelope are torn). And resealed with tape. So guess someone at the post office was interested in my case as well?
