Anyone seen anything posted about local jobs that will be created with the, now passed, stimulus bill?
Anything for Lawrence County? Or other nearby counties? I can imagine that Bloomington (because of IU) will see atleast some of the money.

I do believe that the larger cities in indiana will see more jobs but as for around here I wouldn't hold my breath. You would think that because IU is in bloomington they would place new jobs so people would stay and make them good jobs so they would be worth staying for~!!!

only thing ive seen around bedford created with the stimulus bill is the new handicap accessible sidewalks..

And those people would've been employed anyway, doing other projects. So, it was a waste of time, resources, and money.
