Why is the GM Plant so loud? I live about mile from there and the noise is still audible. The noise only occurs at the late night hours. It's 6:39 AM on Sunday, 24, 2008 and the noise is ridiculously loud. It sounds like a loud vacuum cleaner. I've followed the sound to the GM Plant and at the GM Plant it's about as loud as a jet aircraft. What the hell do they do over there?
