Textile Workshop Print

Learn how to preserve your textile heirlooms at the Lawrence County Museum of History from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2010.  Participants are invited to bring a cherished textile (quilt, clothing, rug, etc.) for professional preservation advice by Ramona Duncan-Huse, Senior Director of Conservation at the Indiana Historical Society.  Everyone will learn in a round table format about preservation issues and how best to preserve their historic textiles.   Ms. Duncan-Huse has 30 years of conservation experience and holds a Certificate in Textile Conservation from the Textile Conservation Centre, Hampton Court, England.
