| Babysitter’s TrainingBecause you care...Prepare Bedford Park Department and American Red Cross are teaming up to offer the Babysitter’s Training Course for 11—15 year olds. Through hands on activities, interactive videos, and lively discussions, the course can help you:· Care for children and infants· Be a good leader and role model· Make good decisions and solve problems· Keep the children you babysit and yourself safe· Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents· Learn CPR The Babysitter’s Training Course will be offered August 25th & 26th from 4-8pm each day at Thornton Park Shelter. Pre-registration is required and payment is due upon registration. Deadline to register is August 22nd, 2008 at the Park Department office. Fee is $30 per student and includes all course materials.
