A good "make-ahead" appetizer and individually frozen
Pizza Rounds
| 1 lb. extra lean ground beef | 1/2 tsp garlic salt |
| 1 lb. sausage | 1/2 tsp oregano |
| 1 lb. Velveeta Cheese, cut into chunks | 2 loaves party rye bread (small loaves) |
| 1/2 tsp onion salt |
- Brown the ground beef and sausage. Drain the grease.
- Add the cheese and stir until melted.
- Add the onion salt, and garlic salt, and oregano. Mix well.
- Spread on the small slices of party rye bread.
- Lay slices on a cookie sheet (as you would do if baking cookies), and freeze.
- After they are frozen, put them in a plastic bag and store in the freezer.
- When ready to serve, take out as many as you need and bake for 12 minutes at 450°.
