FRUIT CUP

Strawberries, kiwi Seedless red grapes
Peaches or nectarines Small can mandarin oranges, drained
Small can pineapple tidbits, drained Orange, lime or rainbow sherbet

 

  • Buy the amount of ingredients needed for the number of people you are serving.
    Wash and hull the strawberries. Wash the grapes.
    Peel the peaches or nectarines and cut into bit-size pieces.
    Mix together the fresh fruit and the canned fruit. Sweeten to taste, and refrigerate. This may be prepared a couple of hours before the meal.
  • Spoon 1/2 C fruit into a sherbet dish and just before serving, place a small scoop of sherbet on top. (Eliminate the hassle at serving time by making the sherbet balls the day before, freezing them in a single layer, and then bagging them.)
