Explore the World with Beakman!

When the fall season of television programming came, the Saturday morning children's programming departed.  One of the shows that departed was Beakman's World.   This show answered kids' questions about how our bodies or anything else works.   Luckily, you can still access his style of learning on the Internet.  His style of answering the questions is definitely child oriented, but adults will enjoy it too!  On You Can with Beakman and Jax kids can send ask questions about how anything works.  There are also interactive demos that require Shockwave to run, but links are provided to download it.  This site also contains a link to another Beakman site called Beakman's World.  This site contains several experiments that kids in Junior High and up can do alone.   Younger kids will need a parent's help.

A word of warning to parents:  It is always wise to supervise when your child is on the Internet.  This second Beakman site is located on Geocities.   Geocities has chat rooms that do not follow our set of family values.
